War memoirs of the Nazi Commando who rescued Mussolini. While the English edition is greatly abridged--the sections in the German original dealing with his actions before 1943 and after his surrender are omitted--the loss is not great, since Skorzeny has little but a few exciting episodes to add to our picture of the war.
