The Eagle and the Roots

The Jugoslav-born author, who died in 1951, spent seven months in Jugoslavia in 1949. This highly subjective book, the product of the visit, is too partial to the present regime to serve as an objective picture, but it contains some useful information, especially concerning the personalities of the Partisan leaders.
