Soviet Opposition to Stalin
Soviet Opposition to Stalin
By George Fischer
Harvard University Press, 1952, 230 pp

Taking the Vlasov movement as a case study of Soviet opposition to Stalin, the author explores the larger problems of the nature and forms of such opposition. The conclusions, especially those dealing with American misconceptions concerning anti-Stalin opposition within the U.S.S.R., throw much light on the question of future United States policy in this matter.
