The Future of the West

After examining the views of Danilevsky, Spengler and Toynbee, the author, who is Minister of the Netherlands Embassy in Washington, states his own optimistic thesis: despite all its tribulations Western civilization retains its vitality and is about to enter a new phase, marked by a world-wide civilization and peace.
