Capitalism and the Historians
Capitalism and the Historians
By F. A. Hayek
University of Chicago Press, 1954, 187 pp

Essays by T. S. Ashton, L. M. Hacker, W. H. Hutt and Bertrand de Jouvenel in development of the thesis that historians have, in general, harbored an anti-capitalist bias, especially with respect to their treatment of the Industrial Revolution. A number of relevant points are made, but the work is conceived in a rather polemic spirit.
