North African Powder Keg
North African Powder Keg
By Edmund Stevens
Coward-McCann, 1955, 273 pp

A vigorous indictment of France's North African policy, from which, in the author's view, the United States must disassociate itself. The author, however, is overly indulgent toward the actions of the native rebels, who certainly bear a share of the responsibility for the recent troubles.
