Wilson: the New Freedom

By Arthur S. Link
Princeton University Press, 1956
504 pp. $7.50

The principal theme of this second volume of Mr. Link's important biography (the first volume, "Wilson: The Road to the White House," was published in 1947) is the President's effort to put his program into effect in the first years of his Administration. Although concentrating primarily on domestic themes, the present volume does deal with relations with the Central American republics.
