Europa Senza Dogane
Europa Senza Dogane
By Giulio Bergmann and Others
Laterza, 1956, 237 pp

A Milanese committee in which business, academic and research organizations participated gave rise to this book by the late Senator Giulio Bergmann and four Italian economists. The essays deal with some of the key questions concerning a European common market and give special attention to issues of interest to Italy, such as labor, the development of backward areas, and the position of a country that would enter the Customs Union with more handicaps than the others.
