The Post-War Condition of Britain

By G. D. H. Cole
Praeger, 1957
483 pp. $6.75

In 1937 Professor Cole wrote "The Condition of Britain." The present work, in a sense, is a sequel to the first, and indicates the marked economic and social changes of the last two decades. On the whole, and despite the international dangers, the general position seems much more optimistic today.
