A number of different authors provide a valuable summary of the contributions made since the end of the war in the broadly defined field of industrial relations. They deal with: union organization, collective bargaining, wage determination, the economic effects of unionism, employee benefit plans, and foreign labor movements. The survey of the last of these topics, by Adolf Sturmthal, will be of particular interest to readers of this journal, covering as it does nationalization and workers' participation in management as well as studies of national labor movements.
