Soviet Policy and the Chinese Communists, 1931-1946

An analysis of Soviet and Comintern policies during the Kiangsi period, the years of the united front, and the Second World War and its aftermath. On the whole the author finds little evidence of Russian intervention in the internal affairs of the Chinese Communists, but also no sign of wavering allegiance on the Chinese side.
