This second volume on the Economic Blockade (Volume I appeared in 1952) in the United Kingdom Civil Series of the official British History of the Second World War covers the period from the summer of 1941 to that of 1945. The story is largely that of Anglo-American planning and coöperation in throttling the economies of Germany, Italy and Japan.
