The architect of the Czechoslovak economic reform of the 1960s gives his analysis of how in the U.S.S.R. and Eastern Europe socialism has been perverted into bureaucratic monopoly power at home and neo-imperialism abroad. Nothing very original, but a convincing and sincere statement.
