Authoritarianism in Mexico
Authoritarianism in Mexico
Edited by José Luis Reyna and Richard S. Weinert

The central theme of these nine papers - also in the Center for Inter-American Relations series - is the relationship of the political, economic and social pattern of Mexican life to the development of bureaucratic-authoritarian, or corporatist, politics in South America (particularly in Brazil and Argentina). The essays suffer the inevitable variation in readability, but the scholarship is uniformly competent.
