Must Canada Fail

Edited by Richard Simeon
McGill-Queen's University Press, 1977
307 pp. $13.00

The English-speaking authors (mostly on the faculty of Queen's University) of these clear-eyed essays take the possibility of Canada's disintegration very seriously indeed. They hope that Canada will hold together, but, should fears come to pass, they suggest ways to mitigate the pain and injury. An important book.
