Yugoslavia After Tito: Scenarios and Implications

By Gavriel D. Ra'anan
Westview Press, 1978
206 pp. $14.50

The description and analysis of the present situation in and around Yugoslavia are generally well informed though on many points either exaggerated or oversimplified. The "scenarios" of the future are so speculative as to confuse rather than enlighten, but the author does make the essential point that the West has a vital role to play in minimizing the chances of adventurous Soviet moves.
