Freedom in the World: Political Rights and Civil Liberties, 1978

Freedom House has now expanded its annual review of the state of freedom in the world to this yearbook form. Despite the inherent difficulty of quantifying freedom and ranking states accordingly, this is a worthy effort and a useful book of reference.
