Quaker Experiences in International Conciliation

By C. H. Mike Yarrow

Yale University Press, 1978, 308 pp.

A notable consistency and faith has marked the efforts of the Quakers in the field of international conciliation, for which, along with their relief work, they have won great respect. This book gives the detailed story of their activities with the two Germanies, with India and Pakistan in the 1960s, and in the Nigerian civil war. Their efforts in East-West relations and in the Middle East are not covered.
