Eurocommunism and Détente
Eurocommunism and Détente
Edited by Rudolf L. Tökés
New York University Press, 1979, 578 pp

Perhaps the best yet of the many recent books on Eurocommunism. In carefully coordinated chapters, the contributors analyze the development and dynamism of the Communist parties in Western Europe, examining the trend toward greater autonomy in national politics and in East-West relations. A concluding chapter examines the dilemmas Eurocommunism poses for the Atlantic Community and suggests ways of dealing with them.
