Lebanon in Crisis

Edited by P. Edward Haley and Lewis W. Snider
Syracuse University Press, 1979
323 pp. $18.00

The events in Lebanon during the past few chaotic years are described from the respective standpoints of those involved, both neighbor states and distant powers and, of course, the PLO, but with relatively little on the Lebanese themselves. A disjointed book, it nevertheless comes close to fulfilling its purpose as a guide to those who wish to understand the conflict, for it has many expert contributors.
