Kennedy and the Berlin Wall Crisis
Kennedy and the Berlin Wall Crisis
By Honoré M. Catudal, Jr.
Berlin Verlag (for the Atlantic Council), 1980, 358 pp

A dramatic, very detailed account of President Kennedy's handling of a crisis which ranked second in danger only to the Cuban missile crisis. A second volume carrying the story beyond 1961 is planned. The author sees Kennedy as very much in control and acting rationally rather than in response to bureaucratic politics or psychological pressures.
