Socialism, Democracy and Self-Management
Socialism, Democracy and Self-Management
By Michel Raptis

Readers of these essays, written between 1953 and 1977 by one who was for many years Secretary of the Fourth International, will probably react on the basis of their own views on Trotsky and Trotskyism. In addition to the routine demolition of Stalinism and the Soviet bureaucracy, he makes some interesting points on direct democracy and self-management and where the Yugoslav, Algerian and other models fall short.
