President Castello Branco: Brazilian Reformer

Continuing the account of Castello Branco's life and career that was carried up to 1964 in the first volume of this study, the author now presents the concluding years of the first of the post-revolutionary presidents. Equally well-researched and competent as the first book, the treatment here covers the period 1964-67, encompassing the foundations of the "Brazilian Miracle" in economic development and terminating with Castello Branco's death.
