Path to Nigerian Development

One of the first Marxist analyses of the Nigerian political economy to find its way into the mainstream, this group of essays may signal a significant intellectual trend. Although its authors' rather repetitive critiques of the existing economic order often hit the mark (they have a large target to shoot at), their explanations of causes, and their interpretations of Nigerian politics and proposals for alternatives are much less well grounded in reality.
