One of the leaders of the wartime resistance in Poland, and a prominent figure in exile since then, adds a detailed and partly autobiographical account of the organization and conduct of the underground struggle against the Germans (and later against the communists) to his earlier works on the subject. The original Polish version was published in Paris in 1975.
