A General's Life: An Autobiography

A General's Life: An Autobiography

By Omar N. Bradley and Clay Blair

Simon and Schuster, 1983, 752 pp.

Although this book is written in the first person, it is really a biography written by Clay Blair, who did the research and drafting. Before the General died in 1981 he had read and approved the first half. The second half is therefore written not by a ghost but for one. The book, like its subject, is clear and uncontroversial.
