The former U.S. Ambassador to Colombia has written a very colorful account of his 61-day ordeal as the captive of Marxist terrorists in Bogota in 1980. The human side of events is stressed, the foibles and whims and personal characteristics of the captors and prisoners alike. Interesting psychology-in-the-raw.
