Dangerous Currents: The State of Economics
Dangerous Currents: The State of Economics
By Lester C. Thurow
Random House, 1983, 247 pp.

An iconoclastic member of the guild asks not only, "What do economists really know?" but also, "Why do they say so many things that do not square with the facts?" The results are refreshing but, naturally, not conclusive. Much of what Professor Thurow says is well known, but he dots i's and crosses t's clearly and neatly.
