Juan Perón and the Reshaping of Argentina

Juan Perón and the Reshaping of Argentina

Edited by Frederick C. Turner and José Enrique Miguens

University of Pittsburgh Press, 1983, 268 pp.

One senses the beginnings of a broad reassessment of Perón and his movement, or at least a widening interest in the phenomena. The ten essays and the epilogue in this volume will materially advance the process. The essays serve both historical insight and current concerns, and cover a full range of economic, political and social aspects, including the memorable and unique Evita. A solid and deserving book.
