This personal narrative of a former Soviet officer (writing under a pseudonym), anecdotal in form and crude in language, supplements his earlier Inside the Soviet Army. The most interesting part describes his adventures as a participant in the campaign to "liberate" Czechoslovakia in 1968. The effect is one of caricature. True or not, it is amusing.
