Proper concerns about some space activities are overtaken by the author's sweeping condemnation of the entire space program. "The election of Ronald Reagan signaled the end of U.S. efforts even to pretend that American space activities would be dedicated to peaceful progress," says the author, a peace activist, in this superficial treatment.
