Rift and Revolution: The Central American Imbroglio
Rift and Revolution: The Central American Imbroglio

Eleven scholars, including Ambassador Kirkpatrick, probe the domestic realities in the five Central American countries and the international influences emanating from the U.S., the Soviet Union, Cuba, Mexico and Europe. An introduction on the origins of the regional crisis is well done. The treatment is generally thorough, attempting to reach and grapple with basics.
