Many Venezuelan contributors have brought their critical insights to this large compendium of national analysis. In general they see the many problems of Venezuela as lost in a prevailing desire for a smothering harmony, and they favor broad social discussion and acceptance of conflict as the inevitable price of the learning process through which solutions can be found.
