Nicaragua-A New Kind of Revolution
Nicaragua-A New Kind of Revolution
By Philip Zwerling and Connie Martin
Lawrence Hill, 1985, 251 pp

Martin and Zwerling, a Unitarian minister, assess the Nicaraguan revolution through 45 interviews with government leaders, priests and others actively concerned. A few are anti-Sandinista, but they tend to be buried in the thrust of liberation theology that dominates, reflecting Zwerling's conviction that he has seen "a revolution that works" and that is "Christian, not Communist."
