Asian Issues 1985

The Asia Society/Washington: University Press of America, 1986
74 pp.

This is the first in what promises to be an annual publication sponsored by The Asia Society. It is designed to identify key developments in the region and their implications for American interests. The first issue contains informative essays on the Philippines, Cambodia, the Punjab and rising trade tensions. The effort could be more useful if it were to single out one topic each year and address it in depth.
