Ethics and European Security
Ethics and European Security
Edited by Barrie Paskins
Auburn House, 1986, 224 pp

Maintaining the high quality of its predecessor, Ethics and Nuclear Deterrence, this book focuses on such matters as first use of nuclear weapons, options for West European defense, chemical and biological weapons and, of course, the Strategic Defense Initiative. The authors draw in the ethical aspects wherever appropriate. On many of these issues, various sides of the debate are represented, demonstrating that moral and theological considerations do not point to any single set of conclusions.
