Third World Ideology and Western Reality: Manufacturing Political Myth

Illusions about socialism, blaming the rich countries for the troubles of the poor ones, and exempting from criticism all Third World governments as well as the Soviet Union are the main ingredients of the "ideology" that is thoroughly castigated by this Venezuelan journalist. He exaggerates the prevalence of this set of views in Europe and the United States and, as usually happens in polemics, confines himself to generalities about his own prescription for development, which is capitalism and the freedom it brings.
