Dollars, Debts, and Deficits
Dollars, Debts, and Deficits
By Rudiger Dornbusch
MIT Press, 1987, 240 pp

Exchange rates, the debts of developing countries, and European unemployment are the large subjects tackled by Professor Dornbusch of MIT. Much of the book is in economists' language-formulas and graphs-but the analysis takes account of factors that escape theory and econometrics, and the conclusions about policy are clear and often challenging.
