Economic And Strategic Issues In U.S. Foreign Policy

For a conference in Berlin in 1987 a number of European scholars and a few Americans prepared these papers which cover familiar basic issues and a few unusual ones. Their aim-with reasonable success-is to link foreign policy and security with "the relative weakening of the American economic base."
