European Competition Policy

Edited by Peter Montagnon

To foster competition governments need to do more than remove import barriers and apply antitrust laws. This excellent and timely book focuses on what the European Community has done and left undone with regard to mergers, dumping, subsidies, government monopolies, the regulation of utilities and the establishing of links between competition and trade policies. The four authors of several nationalities make concrete recommendations for the Community but their analysis applies to other countries as well.
